Dale McClung is the founder/manager of the group.  He sings lead/bass.  He has an incredible 4 octave range, yet his lead singing has been described as "smooth, melodious, and reminiscent of Squire Parsons."  Dale is an ordained minister and loves to preach the gospel.  He resides in Liberty, MO. with his wife, Jenni, and 2 children, Josslyn and Bryson. Dale's oldest daughter, Amanda was married in 2008 to new son-in-law Josh.  We are excited to announce that Dale is a first time Grandpa!  He is very proud of his new grandson, Phillip Lee Baker!  Recently, Dale was elected to be the new President of the Midwest Quartet Association - a really big job, but a really big honor!

Alan Bonds is an original member of One Voice.  He and Dale began the group by singing duets in church.   Alan sings the high tenor for the group, and has qualities that remind one of Brian Free.  In fact, the highlight of his singing life has been to sing "Looking for a City" on stage with Brian and staying right with him in the tenor category.  We think he measures up quite well, thank you!  Over the years, Alan has grown dramatically as a singer, and his rendition of "Oh, What A Savior" ranks with the best!

Nathan McClung is the newest member of One Voice, but was a great fit and easy to find.  Nathan is Dale's younger brother.  11 years younger, in fact!  He's the youngest of the group.  Their mom is very proud that her boys sing together.  Nathan sings tenor, lead, and bass for the group and has an amazingly powerful 4 1/2 octave range.  His rendition of "I Bowed On My Knees and Cried, Holy" has thrilled listeners for years, now.  Nathan lives in Independence, MO. with his wife Marta, daughter Molly, and new son Miles.

The pride of our family lies in our Great-Grandfather, J.A. McClung, who was inducted in 2002 into both the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame.  J.A. wrote music for the original Stamps Baxter Quartet and taught for years in the Hartford school of music.  His song "Just a Rose Will Do" and his piano both reside in the Southern Gospel Hall.  The roots have gone deep into this family, and the boys still long to bless folks with the old style of Southern Gospel, along with many new selections as well.
